I love going to all the shops, and eating in the many restaurants they have in the area. I always take friends and family when they come to visit. They have some great entertainment at night also with some awesome bands nightly.

Dog friendly big time. So many choices to eat, grab a drink, shop and even has a concert area for Summer concerts.
Woodstock is host to more than 150 community scarecrows, each one unique! The festival is through Oct 31st!
Had not been to downtown Woodstock in years and was so impressed. Wow! They have done an amazing job to revitalize this town and create a wonderful nightlife atmosphere - family friendly, easy to park, lots of outdoor spaces to socialize. Hope other nearby areas will learn from what Woodstock has done!

Wow Downtown Woodstock was surprisingly cool! Reasonably priced hippie shop Blue Frog was a highlight. All kinds of dining from five star fine to casual outdoor. Lofts in old buildings. You can actually carry around cocktails in plastic cups in downtown Woodstock and that was cool. The Mexican place Pure had a chill Miami vibe at the upstairs bar. The craft brewery was super unique. Lots of shops and free parking but definitely get there early on weekends. Lots of places outside just to sit and chill with your to go beverage.

Woodstock’s innate and organic vibrancy can be experienced in all its glory in the city’s downtown district, which sits around the T formed by Main Street and Towne Lake Parkway.
The oldest part of the city, here lies a range of elegant brown brick buildings which date to near the city’s foundation.
Today, their lower floors are home to around 20 esteemed restaurants and almost double that number of independent stores, where you can find everything from signed books to native American jewellery.
What’s more, Woodstock’s downtown is infinitely walkable by both day and night, so whether its sightseeing or a night out you’re after, you’ll find it here.
This place has amazing ambience and a small town vibe but big things going on. In the summer, they have free concerts every Saturday at the coliseum. MadLife always has good bands and during the day they have acoustic on the patio. IIPS is a must if you love Italian. Reformation brewery is were everyone hangs out on beautiful days with their pets and across the street is a park for the kids with the not so normal monkey bars, a tunnel and hill and if you are into walking and nature, a really cool trail that goes through neighborhoods and also woods, sometimes beside a riverbank. Parking is a bit of a pain but if you know the area, you know where to park. At times a trolley (free) will circle the area. Public drinking allowed. Really awesome ice cream shop with fudge and homemade goodies. Something for everyone in this small little town.
